10. Furret
The second generation of Pokémon games is considered by many to be the best. Unfortunately, the quality of the Pokémon introduced is less impressive. Many of them, especially those available early in the game, are weak and overlooked by players even in their debut generation. Furret, who begins our ranking, is no exception.
9. Delcatty
Delcatty is another example of a creature created solely to clutter the Pokédex. It has no strong traits or abilities. It was probably meant to be another cute mascot, but it fell flat even there. To evolve Skitty, you also need a Moonstone, but it’s better to use it on someone better.
8. Spinda
Spinda is a cute little dancing panda. While it hasn’t gained recognition among fans as the cutest Pokémon, it is one of the rarest. The chance of encountering a Spinda with the same fur pattern is practically impossible. However, its abilities leave much to be desired. It lacks a transformation that would boost its stats.
7. Castform
Castform is weak because its low base stats prevent it from competing with stronger Pokémon. Its ability to change form is affected by the weather, making it less versatile, and its available moveset doesn’t compensate for its limitations. Furthermore, many other Pokémon offer better options in battle, both in terms of strength and strategy.
6. Electrode
The first generation of Pokémon is considered by many fans to be the best. However, even here, we have creatures that aren’t very popular. Voltorb and Electrode are known for using Explode and Self-Destruct attacks. However, Electrode is one of the worst Pokémon capable of using these powerful moves.
5. Unown
Introduced to the game as an alphabet form, its usefulness in battle is minimal. To complete the Unowndex, you need to catch all 28 forms, which is even more frustrating. This Pokémon should be considered purely as a curiosity.
4. Delibird
Another creature that players usually overlook. Its appearance resembles Santa Claus, which is also related to its special move, Present. Unfortunately, it is very weak, and it can also heal the opponent.
3. Ledian
Bug-type Pokémon didn’t have an easy time in the first generation. Unfortunately, the second generation didn’t improve their situation either. Ledian suffers from the same issues as most of the creatures on this list; its poor stats combined with its unmemorable appearance mean it’s practically always overlooked in many games. Even at the beginning of the game, it’s not worth adding to your team.
2. Wobbuffet
Introduced in the second generation, its primary purpose was to counter enemy attacks with Mirror Coat and Counter. However, this is a difficult task, as, in addition to its high health, its defense is low. It cannot launch its own attacks, making it very easy to eliminate. Furthermore, its strange appearance does not improve Wobbuffet’s already weak position.
1. Luvdisc
Unfortunately, it’s hard to say anything positive about this Pokémon. It has a poor design, terribly low stats, and no way to evolve. It does have access to a few good attacks, but even if it hits, it probably won’t do much damage. It’s currently the worst and weakest Pokémon.
Worst Pokémon – Summary
The worst and weakest Pokémon is Luvdisc. Unfortunately, this Pokémon, like many on this list, suffers from a lack of transformation. This would allow any of them to find their niche in the series.
