Magneto is a master of magnetism, known as one of the more powerful antagonists standing in the way of the X-Men. Who will emerge victorious from this duel?
Spider-Man – strengths and weaknesses
Peter’s arsenal will include many skills useful in this duel. The main weapon in the clash with such a dangerous opponent as Magneto will play a spider sense. This will make it hard to surprise Spider-Man with an unexpected attack. These evasions will certainly be enhanced by superhuman strength, agility and speed. During the duel, the web will also be useful, although the matter is somewhat complicated by the way it is used. Web launchers are mechanical devices that can be susceptible to the power of the master of Magnetism.
Unlike his opponent, he has another important feature. Superhuman strength. After Doctor Octavius takes over Peter’s body, he reveals that Spider-Man has been holding back his full potential the entire time. Doc easily ripped Scorpion’s jaw out with one accurate blow.

Magneto – skills and abilities
It is important to remember that Erik Lehnsherr is an Omega level mutant. He possesses enormous potential. He is best known for his ability to manipulate metals. He does not have tremendous physical strength or endurance, but these are not qualities that are important for him in this duel. He can fly and produce a protective barrier. To keep his opponent at a distance he can create electromagnetic projections.
In his hands, even a simple coin can be dangerous. Any metal object he uses in battle can reach his opponent at bullet speed. In the case of an opponent as agile as Spider-Man, he can try to immobilize him beforehand.

Also, changing the location of the fight may not work, as outside the urban area Magneto loses the metal elements he can use, but also Peter will not be as mobile as among the skyscrapers. It is possible to prepare net launchers without metal elements, and special cartridges with different inserts, for example, to intercept larger amounts of incoming scrap.
Having prepared for the fight, the better chance in our opinion is Magneto, and it is he who should emerge victorious from this confrontation.
Magneto vs Spider-Man in the comics
The heroes met several times sharing the pages of the comic book together. Of course, it is important to remember that such events are the vision of a particular author and each character is as strong as the writer assumes. In the Amazing Spider-Man #327 comic book, the Magneto vs Spider-Man fight ended without resolution. In addition, it is worth noting that Spider-Man had additional powers that made it easier for him to compete with Magneto.
On the other hand, in the Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows Vol 2 booklet, Spinneret (Mary Jane possessing Spider-Man’s powers) effortlessly knocked out Eric with one punch without giving him a chance to react at all.
